PCS strikes

The strike action over pay organised by the PCS civil service union continues this week, with workers in the Identity and Passport Service on strike on 23-25 July.

This follows strikes in the Home Office, Land Registry, Coastguards and other departments and agencies. The union has warned that a pay ballot across the union will be organised if the government refuses to back down over below-inflation pay rises.
