STOP PRESS: BNP feel the anger

The British National Party leader Nick Griffin attempted to hold a press conference outside parliament on Tuesday 9 June.

Unfortunately for him up to 100 protesters got the press attention as they made their opposition to the racist party felt.

In fact Griffin's publicity stunt became a comic turn as local workers from the PCS civil servants' union and the union, Unite, alongside many young people, literally chased him from College Green.

In the end Griffin was forced to dash across the road, hoping that his minders could protect him.

This must be the start of a mass campaign of opposition to racism and the far-right BNP.
