The number of elderly people receiving social care from their local council declined by a staggering 26% between 2010 and 2015.

The sense of solidarity and unity was electric, with over 300 of us marching together. This was on a midweek protest organised by local activists. The campaign to save Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, took its case to Westminster, alongside groups from Chorley, Grantham, St Heliers and Lewisham, and many others.
