Fantastic RMT London Underground victory
The RMT transport union has scored a fantastic victory in the fight against cuts on London Underground. Members of the Fleet maintenance branch recorded a marvellous ballot result that easily met the new anti-union thresholds and announced strike action over three days from 17-19 May.

Aslef members reject Southern deal - now for coordinated action to fight to win
Train drivers in the trade union Aslef have delivered a tremendous answer of working-class solidarity that will astound Southern Rail management and the Tory government but also their own union leadership and that of the TUC. Despite the recommendation by Aslef leaders to accept the deal to end their dispute, drivers have rejected it by 54%-46% after a 72% turnout.

Solid Southern strike continues against Britain's 'worst' train company
Workers have turned out in large numbers at the Southern Rail offices in Barnham, West Sussex, determined to win their dispute. "The result at ScotRail [where workers won a victory to keep conductors on every train] is a boost to our campaign and gives us confidence we can get a result," was the view of an RMT member on the recent strike.
